Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Howard University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) recently participated in a help yourself project at Howard Middle School.

SAAC participated in a daylong interactive program with students at Howard Middle School, teaching and giving advice on what it takes to be a collegiate student-athlete.

The SAAC members kept the students engaged, asking and answering questions about academic standards, time management, sportsmanship qualities and athletic talent needed to be a student-athlete. 

The project was very successul and SAAC was invited back for more detailed presentations about their particular sports.
