Seanta Cleveland serves as the Head Athletic Trainer for Howard University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Prior to joining the Howard University Athletic Department, Seanta served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Bowie State University from July 2010- March 2011. In addition to that, Seanta served as head athletic trainer for the Team HEAL Foundation, Inc., founded by Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Clarence Shields, at (Crenshaw High School) in Los Angeles (CA) from 2008-2010, Athletes' Performance in Carson (CA) in 2008, Licensed Athletic Trainer for Covenant Sports Medicine (2006-2008) in Lubbock (TX) and Graduate Assistant at South Plains College (2006-2007) in South Plains (TX). Seanta also serves as an Approved Clinical Instructor (ACI) for George Mason University and is currently a BLS American Heart Association Instructor, a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and a member of College Athletic Trainer Society (CATS).
Seanta Cleveland earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health from Georgia State University (2006) and obtained a Master of Athletic Training degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (2008).
