Matt Collier is entering his fifth season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Howard. Before coming to Howard, Collier served as the coordinator of basketball operations at Drexel University since 2002.

Prior to Drexel, Collier was the assistant coach at Globe Institute of Technology in New York. He has also served stints as camp counselor at the prestigious Eastern Invitational Basketball and at Five-Star Basketball camps.

Collier is very strong in the administrative area, one of the key components in any successful basketball program. He received his BS degree in sport management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
