Ron Davis is in his fourth season as head coach of the Howard University women's bowling team.

Previously, Davis was the acting head coach for three years and assistant coach for two seasons.

Davis has been a youth bowling coach for over 30 years.  He has taught hundreds of women and men the basic and advanced skills of bowling.  Many of his youth bowlers have received collegiate scholarships, including 2006 Howard University graduate, Shawntia Alexander.  

He received his training from professional bowlers including Dick Ritger, John Myers and Billy Slater.

A D.C. native, Davis attended Calvin Coolidge High School and took courses at the University of the District of Columbia.
