Erica Day is in her fifth season at an assistant coach with the track program at Howard. She was a standout athlete as a member of the Lady Bison track team and received her Bachelor's Degree in 2006.

Day is also a fan ambassador for the Washington Nationals (MLB) and was one of fourteen selected nationwide for the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program in 2007.

She will receive her Master's degree in Sports Management from Howard in 2009.
