Cooper Named To SBN All American Team

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Endor Cooper has been named to the 2008 Sheridan Broadcasting Network Black College All-American team.

A 6-3, 245-pound senior middle linebacker from Woodbridge, Va., Cooper led the team and MEAC in total tackles with 125.  A first team All-MEAC selection, Cooper also led the conference and team in forced fumbles with four and was tied for third in tackles for losses with 1.45 per game.

He ranked nationally where he was third in solo tackles with 71, seventh in total tackles and tied for 8th in forced fumbles.

It marks the seventh straight year that Howard University has had a player named to the SBN All-American team. Cooper will be honored on Saturday, February 14 at the Awards Banquet in Pittsburgh, Pa.
