Bradden Cited For MEAC Honors
Terry Bradden has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for his performance in Saturday's 35-20 loss at Bethune-Cookman. A 6-1, 235-pound red-shirt freshman quarterback from Riviera Beach, FL, Bradden came off the bench and rallied the Bison from a 21-0 deficit to within a score before losing.
Bradden amassed an individual season-high 309 yards of total offense that included 15 of 31 passing for 299 yards and 3 TDs, all career highs. He engineered drives of 62, 76 and 66 yards against the Wildcats, who were rated among the top pass defenses in the country.
Willie Carter and Lanny Kelly received honorable mention for their efforts. Carter grabebd four passes for 117 yards and a TD while Kelly collected four solo tackles, intercepted his third pass of the season and broke up three more passes to bring his total to 10 on the season.
