Howard University Mourns Former Standout

WASHINGTON, DC - Former Howard University football player Keith Napier passed away on September 24 at his home in Waco, TX.  Napier was the starting offensive guard for the Howard football team from 1974 until 1978.  He earned all Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference honors for four straight years, thus becoming the first player in school and conference history to accomplish the feat.

Napier went on to be inducted into the Howard University Hall of Fame in 2007.
