Terrence Leffall of Howard was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Offensive Player of the Week, Keith Pough, the Defensive Player of the Week, John Fleck the Rookie of the Week and Cory Gwinner the Offensive Lineman of the Week as announced by the conference.

A 5-10, 210-pound senior running back from Stone Mountain, GA, Leffall, rushed for 215 of his career-high 253 yards and two touchdowns in the second half to lead Howard to a come-from-behind victory over Delaware State, 41-34. Leffall carried the ball 41 times with his longest rush for 39 yards in the victory. The 41 carries is just one short of the school records for carries in a game (42), held by Leffall in 2011. His performance also placed him in second all-time in rushing yards in a game for the Bison and helped him surpass the 1,000 yard rushing mark, making him the first running back for Howard to reach that mark since 2002.

Pough, a 6-3, 240-pound red-shirt senior linebacker from Orangeburg, S.C. recorded 12 tackles, 10 solos, with 1.5 for a loss of two yards. He also recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown, the first of his career, to give Howard the go-ahead score in a 41-34 win over Delaware State.

Fleck, a 6-2, 220-pound freshman punter/placekicker from, Indianapolis, IN, connected on field goals of 41 and 37 yards out as he aided Howard to a 41-34 victory over Delaware State. He was perfect in point after attempts (5-of-5) and averaged 36 yards on four punts in the game, two of which landed in the opponents' 15-yard line.

A 6-6, 310-pound senior offensive tackle from Ypsilanti, MI, Gwinner graded out at 98-percent on all his assignments as he led the Bison to a season-high 526 yards of total offense, including 347 yards rushing, also a season high. Gwinner also tallied six pancake blocks in the victory and paved the way for a career-high 253 yards rushing for Leffall.

Damon Greham-Chisholm was cited for honorable mention after recording four tackles, 1.5 for losses, 2.5 sacks and a fumble recovery.  A 6-3, 250-pound freshman defensive end from Covington, GA, Chisholm currently ranks 5^th in the FCS in tackles for losses and is 5^th in both fumbles forced and fumbles recovered.
