Myatt Named MEAC Player of the Week

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - Senior guard Eugene Myatt (Philadelphia, Pa./Lutheran H.S.) was named the MEAC Player of the Week, the conference announced today. It was the second time this season that Myatt has garnered the weekly honor.

Myatt averaged 28.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals in two conference matchups last week for Howard.  He recorded a MEAC season high 41 points against the Coppin State, connecting on 12-of-18 shots including 6-of-8 from long range.  He also posted 15 points, three rebounds, four assists and one steal against the North Carolina A&T. 

Howard battles Norfolk State tonight in a league game slated for 6 p.m. in Norfolk, Va.
