WASHINGTON, D.C. - Dadrian Collins has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the second straight week.  A 6-5, 190-pound freshman forward from Williamsburg, Collins averaged 17.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in Howard's road win over Norfolk State last Monday and the home loss to Florida A&M University on Saturday.

In the win over Norfolk State, Collins scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds to go along with two assists and a blocked shot.  He followed up with 14 points, including 4-of-8 from three-point range, and five rebounds in the game against Florida A&M. 

For the week, Collins shot 52 percent (13 of 25) from the field overall and 47 percent (8-of-17) from beyond the arc.

Collins was named the Co-Rookie of the Week last week along with Dewayne Jackson of Morgan State.
