Game Notes: Howard vs. BCUHoward University (Bison) vs. Bethune-Cookman University
(Wildcats) THE GAME: This is a conference match-up between the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman University and the Bison of Howard University. The Wildcats (12-7 overall, 5-1 in the MEAC) are coming off a 57-52 win over Hampton University on the road on Saturday while the Bison (5-15, 4-2 MEAC) are trying to recover from a 72-65 loss to Florida A&M University at home this past Saturday. This is the 61st meeting between these two schools and the Bison hold a 42-18 advantage. THE COACHES: B-CU is coached by Cliff Reed, Jr. (Bethune-Cookman, '91), who is in his 8th season and has an overall record of 98-144. Howard is coached by Gil Jackson (Elizabethtown, '69), who is in his 5th season and has a 35-108 career record. HOWARD PROBABLE STARTERS

rpg GAME NOTES: Dadrian Collins has been named the MEAC Rookie of the Week for the second straight week...this is a key game for the Bison who trail B-CU by half a game at 4-2...the loss to FAMU snapped a three-game win streak for the Bison...the game features the top two sophomore guards in the MEAC, B-CU's C.J. Reed and Howard University's Calvin Thompson. NEXT UP: Howard will travel to Princess Anne, MD to take on the University of Maryland Eastern Shore this Saturday, January 30th.
