October 4, 2005--Jason Williams of Howard University has been named the Atlantic Soccer Conference (ASC) Goalie of the Week after posting shutouts in a scoreless tie with the University of Maryland at Baltimore County and a 1-0 win over the New Jersey Institute of Technology this past Saturday.

            A 5-10, 200-pound senior from Warrick Bermuda, Williams recorded a season-best six saves in the tie with the Retrievers.

            Williams came back with a career-high nine saves, some of the spectacular variety, in the win over conference foe, NJIT.  It gave the Bison (1-6-1 overall, 1-0 in the ASC) their first victory of the season.
