WASHINGTON, D.C. - George Washington defeated Howard, 8-0 Sunday afternoon on the final day of the D.C. Cup.

Rotimi Iziduh (Lagos, Nigeria/Greater Tomorrow Secondary) led the Bison with three shot attempts, including one on goal. Kareem Williams (Ontario, Canada/Father Michael McGivney), Harvey Livingston (Sacramento, Calif./Bella Vista H.S.) and Gregory Westbrook (Lebanon, Tenn./Winston Central H.S.) each contributed one shot on goal.

Andy Stadler and Yoni Berhanu each had a pair of goals for GW (1-0-1) while four other Colonials finished with one goal each.

Howard returns to action Sept. 5-7 at the Hensor/Zaher Memorial Diadora Classic in Portland, Oregon. The tournament, hosted by Oregon State, will pit the Bison against the host Beavers on Sept. 7 at 10:30pm (EST). HU will battle Seattle University on the second day of the tourney at 1 pm (EST).
