Borde Named ASC Rookie of the Year; Three Players Awarded with All-ASC Honors

Howard men’s soccer freshman Phillip Borde was named the ASC Rookie of the Year in voting conducted by the league’s head coaches. Borde was also named to the ASC first-team and was joined by teammate Matt Marshall. Goalkeeper Victor Thomas garnered second team honors and Howard placed a league-high four members on the ASC All-Academic team. [more]

Junior Rodino Wright converted a first half penalty kick as Howard played to a 1-1 tie against NJIT. The decision was the final home contest for seniors Victor Thomas, Lemuel Lyons, Kareem Williams, Lamar Hyde, Harvey Livingston, Rotimi Iziduh and Gregory Westbrook. [more]
