WASHINGTON, D.C. - Junior George Diggs (Beaux Bridge, La./Twerlings Catholic H.S.) was named the MEAC Tennis Athlete of the Week, the conference announced today.

Diggs went undefeated (4-0) last week at the No. 3 singles spot. He picked up a non-conference win over Mount. St. Mary's and conference wins over Maryland Eastern Shore, Delaware State and Hampton. 

The Howard men's tennis team will host Longwood in a senior day finale on Saturday at 1 PM.
