WOODSTOCK, GA. - Howard wrapped up action at the Buzz Classic with a 5-1 loss to Winthrop Sunday afternoon at Twin Creeks Complex. Senior catcher Aisha Ledet was named to the All-Tournament team for her efforts.

Ledet went 9-for-16 (.563) in five games at the Buzz Classic. She finished 3-for-5 with three RBI against Rhode Island and 2-for-3 with one RBI versus the Eagles.

Howard plated a run early versus Winthrop, but the Eagles responded with a run of their own in the bottom of the second.

Winthrop added three runs in the fourth and another in the fifth.

Christine Sborz and Lorae Robinson chipped in two hits apiece for HU. Rebecca Kirshner and Ciera Gordon chipped in one hit each.

Howard (1-8) will make the short trip to College Park, Md. for a doubleheader with Maryland on Wednesday.
