DES MOINES, IOWA - Competition at the 2008 NCAA Outdoor Championships came to an end for Landria Buckley on Friday at Drake Stadium.

Competing in the 100m hurdles semifinals, Buckley recorded a time of 13.50 to place her ninth overall. Her time did not qualify for the finals.

The top three finishers from each heat and and the next two fastest times advanced to the finals.

"I was really pleased how she fared," head coach Michael Merritt said. "She gave it her all and that's all you can ever ask for as a coach."

The rising junior earned a spot in the semifinal round after posting a time of 13.38 in the prelims on Thursday.
