BLACKSBURG, VA. - Sophomore Ashley Hodges took fifth in the mile run and paced the Lady Bison at the Hokie Invitational Jan. 16-17 in Blacksburg, Va.

Hodges crossed the mile run line in 5:03.53. Landria Buckley was eighth in the 60m hurdles (8.64) and Jami Hardy also took home an eighth place finish (800m in 2:15.55).

Alexandria McKee jumped 1.6m (5'5") in the high jump en route to a ninth place finish.

Hodges later competed in the 3000m run and finished in 11:00.95 while Tamila Myles crossed the 800m line in 2:30.00.

Latayvia Jackson (200m dash), Brittany Stephens (400m dash), Azalia King (1:03.90) and Alexandria Lemonious (long jump) also fared well for the Lady Bison.

Daniel Kinney was the runner up in the 60m hurdles on the men's side. The Michigan native finished in 7.97, besting his 8.02 in the preliminary qualifying round.

Christopher Harrison was sixth in the 400m dash (48.32) and Richard Williams was fifth in the 800m run after crossing the line in 1:55.27.

Vaughn Holland took home a top-10 finish in the high jump (1.9 meters or 6'2").

Howard returns to action this weekend at the Hampton Invitational.
