GREENSBORO, N.C. - Lauren McNary and Landria Buckley fell just shy of the NCAA Championship during action at the East Regional May 29-30 in Greensboro, N.C.

McNary advanced to the 400m dash final after qualifying on day one with a mark of 53.99. The senior placed sixth overall in the final on day two (53.78), but only the top five advance to nationals.

Buckley took sixth in the 100m hurdle final in 13.38. The Michigan native later placed seventh overall in the 400m hurdles in 59.53.

The 4x400m relay squad (McNary, Brittany Stephens, Buckley, Jami Hardy) crossed the line in 3:46.32, good for 18th overall.

Christopher Harrison, competing in his first regional meet, finished the 400m dash preliminaries in 47.81.  

Daniel Kinney crossed the 110m hurdle line in 14.15 during action on day one. Kinney narrowly missed qualifying for the 400m finals (51.52) after taking ninth in the preliminary round.

McNary and Buckley still have a shot to advance to the NCAA Championship on June 10-13. Sixth-12th place finishers will be pooled for an at-large bid to be announced on Tuesday.
