VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - Junior Landria Buckley (Romulus, Mich./Romulus H.S.) was named the MEAC Track & Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced today.

Buckley qualified for the NCAA Regional Championship in two events at the Wake Forest Open last week. She won the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.56 and followed that performance with a victory in the 400m hurdles in 59.70.

The Howard track team is back in action this weekend at the Raleigh Relays.
