Tosin Elebute Added to Lady Bison Volleyball Squad

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Tosin Elebute, a former All-Florida first-team member and South Florida 4A-5A-6A player of the year has transferred to Howard, Head Coach Orlando Larracuente announced.

"I am elated to add Tosin to our squad," Larracuente said. "Her skill set along with her confidence and competitive spirit should be a great asset to our young developing core of players."

A mid-year transfer from Middle Tennessee State, Elebute is an outstanding blocker with an impressive jump serve. She was named best blocker at the United States Volleyball Association (USVA) High Performance Championships in 2006 and can attack from all three positions in the front row. A versatile 6-footer, Elebute is also a former member of the USA High Performance Team.

Elebute adds depth to the young Bison squad and is joined by Taylor Montgomery, a top-80 prospect who recently signed with Howard.
