WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Howard men's and women's basketball teams now know their seedings for the 2008 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament, to be played next week at the RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C.

Howard's men (6-25, 3-13 MEAC) are the No. 10 seed and opens play on Tuesday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m. against No. 7 Coppin State. HU split the season series with the Eagles, defeating CSU 73-69 on Jan. 28 in OT but dropping a 68-45 decision on Feb. 25.

The Lady Bison (4-29, 3-13 MEAC) will be the 8th seed and open tournament play on Tuesday, March 11 at 1:30 p.m. against No. 9 Florida A&M. Howard won the only meeting between the teams this season, 73-72, on Jan. 12.
