Navy Holds Howard Winless
ANNAPOLIS, MD. - The Navy women's basketball team picked up its first win of the season on Wednesday after defeating Howard 70-51 in a non-conference decision at Alumni Hall.
Shannon Carlisle led the Bison with 13 points on 6-of-19 shooting from the field. Fellow senior Asha Santee added 12 points and a game-high five steals.
The Midshipen were paced by Cassie Cosedine's 19 points and 11 rebounds. Three other Mids scored in double figures as Morgan Hill, Kalen Kropa and K.C. Gordon added 16, 12 and 10, respectively.
Howard returns to action this weekend at the Longwood Classic on Nov. 16-17.
