WASHINGTON, D.C. - Guard Zykia Brown (Riverdale, Md./Parkdale H.S.) was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced yesterday. This is the second time this season that Brown has garnered Player of the Week honors.

The sophomore averaged 22.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.0 steals for the Lady Bison last week. Brown shot 40-percent from the field (14-of-35) and 81-percent (13-of-16) from the charity stripe. She recorded a career-high 32 points along with four rebounds, six assists and two steals in a win over Norfolk State. She followed that performance with 13 points, six assists and four steals against Maryland Eastern Shore.

Brown also garnered the same honor on Jan. 20.
