The freshman also inked four free-throws in the final 20 seconds to help seal the win for HU.

Demetria Frank and Jasmine Daniels scored 13 and 11 for the Wildcats, respectively, and Euneshia Proctor finished with 11 points Bethune-Cookman (14-12, 9-5 MEAC). BCU entered the game with five consecutive home victories and seven of eight overall.

Howard scored 10 unanswered points to open the second half, but the Wildcats slowly chipped away at the lead and took a three-point advantage with 8:29 left in the contest. A pair of free-throws by Brown at 8:05 spurred a 12-0 lead by the Bison, however, and the Howard lead was back in double digits with just over three minutes left.

HU returns to action on Saturday at 2 p.m., hosting Maryland Eastern Shore at Burr Gym.
