The Game
Howard enters Saturday's contest with a 3-4 mark. The Lady Bison
took down Hampton 48-47 last Saturday for its first conference win
while George Mason (5-3) dropped a 65-46 decision to Saint Joseph's
in its last time out on Dec. 6.
Junior Zykia Brown paced Howard with a game-high 16 points in the win over the Pirates. Reigning MEAC Rookie of the Week Saadia Doyle added 10 points and 11 rebounds, her sixth double-double in seven games. Kara Smith chipped in 10 points.
Amber Easter had 13 points in Mason's loss to the Hawks. Ashleigh Braxton added 10 points while Janaa Pickard and Brittany Poindexter led the team in rebounds with six apiece.
