WASHINGTON, D.C. - Junior guard Zykia Brown (Riverdale, Md./Parkdale H.S.) ranks with the elite shooters in the nation in the NCAA Division I women's basketball statistics released by the association on Feb. 14.

Brown's 19.3 points per game ranks 16^th highest in the nation. She is second in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) in scoring and ranks in the top-10 in six total categories.

Brown has been Howard's leading scorer in 17 games this year and was named MEAC Player of the Week for her efforts against George Mason in December. 

The Lady Bison travel to face Florida A&M on Saturday afternoon at 5:30 p.m.
