Howard Blanked By Temple
PHILADELPHIA, PA. - Kate Yurkovic scored two goals and added three assists to lead Temple University to an easy 7-0 win over Howard University in a non-conference women’s soccer match. The Lady Bison never did mount much of an attack as they were outshot, 24-3 and allowed 16 shots on goal by Temple.
The Owls continued their dominance in the second stanza, scoring four more goals before substituting liberally as all 22 players on the roster saw action.
Jordan Brown recorded two of Howard’s shots while goalkeeper Cheyra Bell was credited with 6 saves in a losing effort.
The Lady Bison will look to get into the win column when they host George Mason University on Wednesday at 7 pm in Greene Stadium.
