2010 Schedule

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Howard University women's soccer team released its 2010 schedule on Tuesday. The Lady Bison will play seven home games at Greene Stadium and have a challenging road slate with nine road games. Howard finished 3-1-1 in the Great West Conference (5-11-2 overall) and fell to tourney champion Utah Valley in the Great West semifinals in 2009.

The Lady Bison will host Columbia Union College in a scrimmage on Aug. 20 before opening the season with a road trip to Temple on Aug. 22. Howard hosts local foe George Mason on Aug. 25 and travels to Staten Island, N.Y. to face Wagner the following Tuesday at 4 p.m.

The following weekend (Fri., Sept. 3), HU will travel to Youngstown State to face the Penguins at 3 p.m.

Howard hosts VMI on Sept. 13 and makes the short trip to Lynchburg, Va. to face Liberty on Sept. 17. Saint Francis comes to Greene Stadium on Sept. 19 and Howard hits the road again four days later to face Robert Morris on Sept. 23.

The Lady Bison open Great West play vs. NJIT on Sept. 26.

HU embarks on a three-game road trip beginning with Longwood on Oct. 2. Great West foe South Carolina State hosts Howard on Oct. 8 and the road swing is capped with a matchup against Delaware State on Oct. 15.

The Lady Bison will host South Carolina State (Oct. 19) and Delaware State (Oct. 24) before closing out the season at NJIT on Oct. 29.
