W. Soccer Victorious in Overtime

GRAND FOLKS, ND- The Howard University women's soccer team snapped a seven game skid as they defeated North Dakota 2-1 on Saturday. The game went into overtime – the team's third straight overtime.
Junior Retha Koefoed dominated with a total of four shots while Jordan Brown took two shots. Freshman goalie Kyra Dickerson made ten out of eleven shots made my North Dakota, versus the zero that North Dakota saved of Howard University.
North Dakota took a total of 23 shots, only scoring one of them, while HU attempted six.
The Bison are back in action on Thursday October 20, 2011 against NJIT in Newark, NJ at 5pm.
