W. Soccer Ends Season With a 2-0 Loss in GWC Quarterfinal Play

NEWARK, NJ - The Howard University women's soccer team ended its season with a 2-0 loss to North Dakota in the Great West Conference quarterfinal action. Goalie Kyra Dickinson collected six saves in a losing effort.

UND got on the scoreboard when Megan Anderson buried a shot just inside the right post at 40:28 of the first half. Noel Scherer dumped the ball over the Howard defense from the right sideline into the box where Anderson found it for the eventual game-winning goal.

The Bison recorded nine shots for the entire game - including seven in the second-half.

Howard ends its season 4-12-1.
