Michele Gee Garners All-Conference Honors

RALEIGH, N.C. - Sophomore Michele Gee was named to the All-MEAC second team at the annual awards banquet Thursday night at the Marriott Crabtree Valley Hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Gee posted a 7-6 overall mark and a 3-2 record in league play. She was undefeated at number one singles and picked up individual non-conference wins over netters from Towson, Mount St. Mary's, James Madison and George Mason.

The 2008 MEAC Tennis Championship begins Friday, April 19 at the Millbrook Tennis Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Lady Bison, who earned the number two seed in the north, will face off against Florida A&M in the opening matchup.
