Moore Wins No. 1 Singles vs. Bethune-Cookman
RALEIGH, N.C. - Freshman Ashley Moore defeated Katarina Szaboova at No. 1 singles during action at the MEAC Championship on April 17 in Raleigh, N.C. The Lady Bison dropped the match, 4-0.
Moore won 6-3, 4-4 before Szaboova retired. The Florida native wrapped up the season with a 9-8 mark in singles action.
Michele Gee and Alyssa Works won at No. 1 doubles, a 6-5 victory over Monika Musilova and Eva Hankova.
Howard fell at No. 3 6 singles and No. 6 doubles due to a shortage of players.
