HOWARD LADY BISON FALL 5-2 IN HEAD-TO-HEAD BATTLE WITH GEORGE WASHINGTON

ARLINGTON, VA. (www.howard-bison.com) – February 3 – The Lady Bison (0-3) went head-to-head with the Lady Colonials of George Washington (1-1) Saturday, Feb. 2 at the indoor Army Navy Country Club falling short a few strokes, 5-2. 

The Bison were outscored by the Colonials in the doubles competition losing all three matches, but re-acclaimed their victory in the singles bracket play.

Katelyn Stokes captured the first victory over Leah Pascarella winning 3-6, 6-4 and 6-1. Next, Umarah Mughnee defeated Stephanie Wei 7-5 and 6-4. 

The Lady Bison will come back in search of a victory Saturday, Feb. 16 at James Madison in Annapolis, Md. at 6 p.m.
