WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – In their final contest of the 2012 season, offensive leader Assata Conway attained a season-high 20 kills during Howard's 3-2 (25-17, 25-21, 18-25, 16-25, 15-12) loss to Coppin State University on Sunday, Nov. 11 in Burr Gymnasium on the Howard campus in Washington, D.C.

Conway tallied a season-high 48 percent with 20 kills on 31 attacks with only five errors.  Meagan Lagerlef followed with 11 kills, while Destinee Harrison tallied 10 kills.

Stephanie Shultis circulated 38 assists, as Jasmine Tipton collected 14 digs and gathered four service aces.

Collectively, Howard notched 54 kills, 46 assists, seven service aces, 50 digs and one team block.

The Lady Bison return to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference action next season.
