Men's XC Opens 2011 Season at JMU Invite
NEW MARKET, Va. - The Howard Univ. men's cross country team opened its 2011 season at the James Madison Univ. invite on Sat. Sept. 10.
For the Bison, Aaron Harrison came in 32nd and ran a time of 27:27 in the 7900 meter run to lead all HU participants. Giorani Mowatt was 26 seconds behind with a time of 27:53.
As a team, Howard placed fifth with a total time of 2:26:31.50, and an average time of 29:18.30.
The team will look to regroup as they travel to Princess Anne, Md. to participate in the UMES Invite.
